I was accepted as a Biological Sciences major at Cal Poly SLO, but a few months after applying, I realized that the bio & pre-med path is not for me. I found a passion for politics and international relations, and I want to change my major to Political Science. I’m trying to choose a college for Fall 2020, and Cal Poly is a good option, but I don’t want to waste a quarter taking science classes and not be able to switch into Political Science. Will it be very difficult for me to switch majors after first quarter, or will that not be a problem?
Going from Biological Sciences which is highly competitive to a less competitive major like Political Science should not be an issue.
