<p>It can be done. My son just got admitted to Elect. Engineering after first being admitted as a Chemistry major. Each major you want to switch into has a GPA and course requirement for at least one quarter and you can only request the change after your first quarter. Obviously your GPA has to be in good standing too. As long as you file the Change of Major Request and follow / meet the requirements, your major can officially be changed by the third quarter. At least that was the case with my son.</p>
