How do/did you organize your shower stuff?

Thanks for all the advice guys!

Another question- For those of you who use bar soap, where do you keep it? I don’t know where to find those soap boxes or toothbrush holders…

^^^^^^^^
At tartget or walmart in the travel section. There’s mini soap, tissues…etc. You will find those holders.

or at the dollar store.

“I used to turn my shower to maximum hot and then leave it run full blast for an hour while I did something on my computer.
Uhhh why would you do that? That’s a pretty huge waste of water…”

Seriously dude, that’s terrible.

So would a mesh or pastic shower caddy be better? I feel like mesh might cave in to easily but Im afraid that the plastic will take up to much and be bulky.

Unlike most girls, I don’t have a huge shower caddy. I just have a travel size shower hanger (like with three pockets and a hook), and in it, I have refillable travel size bottles of shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, along with my razor. From the hook, I hang my shower scrubie poof, and I carry my shaving cream separate. I just check the bottles before I take my shower; they usually only need filled once every week or two. I know it’s more effort with the smaller bottles, but it’s less crap to lug to the showers. When I wash my face or brush my teeth, I just bring what I need to the bathroom. I was only about 25 feet from the bathroom, so it was a short walk.

I’d recommend a shower caddy if you like having everything with you all the time or if you have a longer walk. I just found that even with drainage holes, I had a wet shower caddy to deal with afterwords, and I really like the mini bottles due to less weight. It’s easy to forget stuff now and then, though, like my shaving cream or refilling the bottles.

I would 100% recommend a bath robe for a girl. Towels are tricky at times, even if they are large, and a bath robe is simple and more reliable. I also bought beach towels, for their giant dimensions and fun designs :D

At my school, we usually have a sufficient supply of hot water, but it has to warm up for a couple of minutes. However, it really depend on plumping. Of the four showers in my bathroom last term, one had hot water after only about a minute, one a little bit after, and one had a water temperature that would aggravatingly switch from hot to cold. (The fourth one had lighting issues.) On a similar note, try out all the showers in your bathroom. One will be awesome, and one will probably suck.

If ypu’re in a quad, do you still need shower shoes?

I wouldn’t do it. Only 4 people are using the bathroom, and that’s as many people as are in my family, including me.

Yeah that’s true, thanks. I wasn’t planing on it but I didn’t know if most people brought them

I just threw everything in a bag.

Some of the girls wore robes on my floor… actually not too many of them, some wore a towel, others just changed back into the clothes they went in with, or they put on new ones/pjs etc.
