i got an 88%ile over all and took the ssat again yesterday. i have all as, a+ in spanish, science, and history. i do travel soccer, dance, russian club, field hockey club, student council, basketball, and christian fellowship. for schools including loomis, exeter, miss porters, andover, and horchkiss, do you think i have a chance? (please be honest)

well honestly, at horchkiss, you dont stand a chance. you look pretty good for hotchkiss tho. lol. 88% is a good ssat score but what did you have before?

i got 88 on the nov. test, and i think i did better yesterday, but idk yet. what do you mean, i dont stand a chance for hotchkiss, but for hotchkiss i look pretty good? sry lol im a little confused

Hopeful is referring to your misspelling of Hotchkiss as "horchkiss". An 88% SSAT is a very good score and will get a serious read of your application at all schools.

ohhh lol i didnt notice. thanks!

OMG A Russian Club? That is so cool! I love Russian culture and stuff. What do you do in the Russian club?

good luck! I think the score is fine, but I hope you did well when you retested also!

well ive been taking russian for 2 years at my school and its so much fun. at the club we go on field trips a lot to russian plays and once to a russian market at a church. also sometimes we do activities at the school like learn how to paint the russian eggs and have tea parties. its really fun! russian history of the last tsar is so interesting, haha that sounds so dorky but it is.

It is so interesting.... I tried to learn Russian by myself and it's soooo hard but I know some words, LOLZ.... My friends and I are OBSESSED with Russian music, especially Dima Bilan LOLZ, do you know who he is? He's like a pop star sort of.... it's sort of weird and random though.... :-)

no, i should check his music out though. my teacher is wonderful so it isnt that difficult, but i cant imagine doing it on my own! good for you! are you applying to places that have russian?

your profile is right in line with the top schools. Admissions will have to decide if they want to "live" with you and will the community benefit from your talents. It will be up to you to interview with style and authenticity.

No, none of the schools I am applying to have Russian.... which really stinks, but I might apply to a higher tier school that does as a 9/10 grader next year if I am at a low tier school or a public schools or a day school. I'm not really sure yet.
