How do I set up an interview? Do I even have to?

<p>I sent in my Vanderbilt App on the 3rd and I also sent in my scholarship app on the 3rd as well.</p>

<p>However, on the Vanderbilt App, I didn't see a place where it would allow me to sign up for an interview. </p>

<p>Does Vanderbilt automatically assign interviews after they have processed my application or do I have to call them up and let them know I want an interview?</p>

<p>Thanks for the help.</p>

<p>P.S.: Did anyone submit the scholarship application online? I did and it felt kind of weird (almost unoffical like because after submission I received no confirmation email that it was received or anything).</p>

<p>Also, how hard is it to get the Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholarship?</p>

<p>Once the Admissions office receives your application, they will email you with information regarding alumni interviews. The interviews are optional, but are your way of expressing your enthusiasm for Vanderbilt, since there are no supplement essay this year. I didn't do any scholarships so I am not sure about those (sorry).</p>

<p>I submitted the scholarship app online over a week ago and did not receive any email acknowledgement. I don't know if Vandy sends one. One of the Vandy publications states that only 300 merit scholarships (all three types) are awarded.</p>
