So I am taking a couple of PSEO courses and I didn’t do so well on one of my classes but did really good in another, an A and a D. I just wanted to know 1) is there a way to get rid of that grade? or if not 2) how does it transpose onto my high school transcript? Thank You
The PSEO grades will be sent to the high school and I assume they will be reported on the HS transcript. Your D will be known to the colleges you apply to. You don’t get to omit it.
Is PSEO the same as dual enrollment? At our high school no matter what the grade is after the semester is finished the dual enrollment coordinator from both the college and the high school both have access to the grades. It gets entered onto the high school transcript. Unfortunately at our high school there would be no way of preventing the earned grade from appearing on the high school transcript.
Our weighing system for dual enrollment classes is found in the high school program of studies. The vast majority of classes are counted the same weight as AP classes in terms of high school gpa. In addition to colleges getting the transcript from the high school you will need to send a college transcript though initially your guidance counselor may be able to just put it on naviance for you (depends on what schools you apply to).
Yes, it is a dual enrollment program. I’m fine with having it on my college GPA but I just can’t have it messing up my High School GPA.
“I just can’t have it messing up my high school GPA.” Seems like you earned a D, which will lower your high school GPA. What did you think was going to happen?
Look i had a lot going on this year mentally, and so far my work ethic had only gotten me As and Bs in AP courses, not to brag butI just don’t feel that this one score doesnt reflect who I am.
