How do you deal with a break-up?

^^sorrryy :b

Wow thanks SandwichGirl. Haha

Roll up a blunt with a list of your regrets. Burn it burn it all and start it fresh.

Decrescendo, I agree with other posters here. The girl’s character was probably a little sketchy if she was doing things behind your back in another state (though only you can judge the situation though).

I also broke up not too long ago except we didn’t last five months (relationship was ****ty to behind with). Did I wallow a bit? Yes. Did I log into CC? No. Did I talk about it with friends? Yes! The third helped the most.

As for how things worked out in the end… Well I realized that through our relationship (even when we were friends) that we don’t get along very well and her character was pretty (cross-out very) sketchy as well. For example, she wasn’t over some other guy when she was with me. That just destroyed trust I had with her and prevented me from even treating her as a friend afterwards. (She had much more faults than this, but she was just a very good actress)

As for your “suspicious” thoughts, just forget about them. It’ll hurt more thinking about them. One of my closest friends is a friend of my ex, so I was able to get a lot of answers :), which helps a lot too. If you don’t have a friend like that, then might as well forget about it and move on.

Good luck, the feeling will go away soon and you’ll find a much better girl later :)

^^Haha I don’t smoke pot, man. But I shall interpret that statement in a metaphorical manner and do that.

^Thanks Mr. Wheezy. Haha, I talked to my two best friends for hours on the phone, and we hung out last night. So I’m really okay. But I wasn’t yesterday.

It’ll blow over eventually. Hopefully sooner than that.

The song “Time” by Ben Folds pretty accurately sums it up for me. “Time takes time, you know.”

What worked best for me was just getting a new girl. It doesn’t always work out for the best in the long run, but that’s what I would do.

ETA: (Why is the font so big on this thread?)

I don’t think I’m going to date for a while. I’m just not up to it right now. Maybe that’ll change sometime this school year. But for now, I’m just gonna hang with friends and work on school.
