How do you find creativity in the Why Penn essay?

ayvenkater! - ur kannada?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

automatic g-status for you.

oh, and i talked abt spongebob in my "fun" essay. quoted him, actually. and my prof essay kinda showed exactly why i wanna major what i wanna major in and how thats gonna affect the world/my future (basically, i wanna do what my prof does)

? /* what the hell is paro talking about? */

why the confusion? are you from karnataka, originally, or no?
cuz i was born in bangalore, just wanted to connect. lol

o ok. I was just confused about the whole "automatic g-status for you." If you already did not know, I cannot read or comprehend english. How have I gotten this far, I will never know.

On a lighter note, whens the last time you were in banglore? i was there visiting relatives this summer?

g-status? gangsta status? haha it was a compliment.

umm 4 yrs ago? lol im going this summer tho, and i def spk kannada fluently.
did u ever hit up an AKKA conference?

lol how bout its now called "bengalooru" how gay is that.

that is very messed up, but India has some weird thing now about changing names.

I thought I have said before, I really do nothing relating to my indian heritage. I guess at college I will try to connect more with my people, but until then nothing is going to change.

ohhh thats right, ur windian.

anyway, cool to kno someone else here is kannada =)

ahhhh too much brown!
lol

well, for my "Why Penn" essay, i'm planning just to write about how i felt right at home as soon as i set foot on the campus, literally. i had never felt that way about a school before. i had visited cornell, yale, and princeton and it was just bleh, but i loved Penn. and of course i'll include stuff about the academics, like how you can start vet school a year early and how they have all kinds of research opportunities and how they also offer private music lessons in the residences.
it's just abunch of stuff. just think about every single reason why you want to go to penn... it can be the most random things in the world. because, IMO, those random reasons are the most important. they really show you as a person.

pyar-- That's what I meant by stereotypical. The doc frankenstein we see in movies and stuff. I know that franky isn't like that at all in the books. Needless to say I did my research.

did everyone type up to 6000 characters? Mine was kinda short, 4,200.

4200??? are you serious?

It was supposed to fit on 1 page...that may have, but any more than that would be very hard to get on 1 page

well i submitted it online and it lets you go up to 6000 characters. And I thought I was on the short side lol.

Mine was 4052 characters with spaces and I thought that was pretty long. 688 words.

Common App people I guess. I did the Penn app and you just upload the document.

Phew, good thing i decided not to write another paragraph lol

yea i was common app. Hopefully they won't hold it against me.

yeah... lets not talk abt how freaking long my pg 217 was... lol
my why penn was short and to the point. the point being, i LOVE ur school u better let me in mofos.

Both of my essays were about 550 words

I believe, writing your "Why Penn" essay about overcoming your drug addiction and knowing Penn is the only college where you can keep clean will make your essay stand out.

did anyone write that?
