<p>Drink two cups of strong coffee, maybe three. The way a caffeine high works is, you will feel pretty much FINE until about 9:00-10:00 AM, which should be enough to finish any work you need for school. Well, a little lightheaded, but okay for the most part. Then somewhere in there, you will feel a VERY SHARP, STEEP DROP towards feeling like crap. You will be tired and irritable for the rest of the day.</p>

<p>i stay up until 10:30pm at latest. then I just wake up at 3am to finish the rest. staying up is just way to difficult for me and I don't want to start drinking coffee...</p>

<p>I have been sleeping about 3-5 hours everyday. DON'T DO IT!!!! Ever scince I have been slurring words in debate and have fallen asleep in libraries and bookstores (once at the MET in the Egyptian exihibit).LOL</p>
<p>The thing is, my parents get really annoyed at my lack of sleep. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably stay up later.</p>

<p>i drink LOTS of water. The last night of summer before school started I had to pull an all-nighter to finish summer assignments for AP Classes. I drank aboutt 10 full glasses of water (not even an exaggeration) and the resultant frequent urination kept me up.</p>
<p>Just sleep during school, lots of dead times while the teacher is droning on.</p>
<p>You guys are getting into way unhealthy habits. I know for AP USH last year I had to stay up past midnight about 7 times, and past 1 AM twice (including three straight midnight+ nights in october). But I started getting sick because of lack of sleep. I know you guys probably have more work than me, but it seems rediculous to have to stay up to midnight everynight. Maybe I'm a lucky one and maybe I'm not as headstrong about making it into an Ivy League school (I'm still trying, but I won't kill myself if I don't make it in like some people on this board...) but I just think my health and wellbeing is more important than finishing a few AP chem problems. Just IMO.</p>
<p>i stay up to 11-12 regularly and i only take 5 classes and 2 of those are APs...(my school's insane...)</p>
<p>but for staying awake...i just drink a lot of water (it's the only thing i drink...i used to drink so much caffeinated soda that the caffeine didn't help anymore and i was getting withdrawl), play non-sleepy music (but not annoying :p), and take a shower around 8-9ish to give me a bit of a jolt to wake me up</p>
