<p>I usually go to sleep around 11:00.</p>
<p>honestly, this is a little ridiculous. my last class ends at 3:30 (4:15 on Tuesdays), i go to swim practice for two hours and get home at around 6:30. I eat, take a shower, talk on the phone, study and do HW all by10:00 at which point I go to sleep and wake up at 6:00. And my high school is known for its rigor. Basically, if you set aside chunks of time for what you are going to do and when you will be fine, don't say you are going to work for an hour and then wind up studying only 20min b/c this hottie from your school was online. Besides, what gets you the best grades is sleep b/c you are better prepared for the next day. Late study, light sleep catches up and you feel yucky</p>

<p>for some of my college homework I worked until 2 or 5 am. My highschool homework I can get done by 10:00pm.</p>

<p>i go past midnight everyday. 2 am on most days. i feel like im going to bed early if i dont.</p>
<p>i have 5 ap classes but do work during the day for them. i also have cross country practice almost everyday after school.</p>

<p>strong coffie is not what you want to drink to stat up late. lighter coffies actually have more caffine in arabica beans (most common coffie bean). Unless the coffie is made with robisto beans, which have more caffine then arabica, id recomend coffies from the americas like mexico and antigua.</p>
<p>i never said what kind of coffee but what ever floats your boat. I believe the gatoraid enfused energy drink, AMP would defiently keep me awake. There is also this high caffine drink called Bawls with a warning label on the bottle. That stuff rocks.</p>
<p>Wow, I am so jealous of you guys. I can't remember the last time I went to sleep before 12. A few times I've been to sleep before 1, but mostly it's later, from 1- 2ish. Looking back at high school I remember thinking that staying up until 11 or 12 was scandalous doing homework. :) I would never have imagined I'd stay up until 4 am a few times and not even think it weird (although I do think it awful). Ahh, the good ol' days. </p>
<p>I'm definitely going to remember some of these techniques though. Never know when they'll come in handy.</p>

<p>chew on carby snacks, drink hot cocoa, drink tea, drink coffee, do whatever you can to go past what i call, "THE inevitable," where you feel that any second, u are about to go to sleep, and after that, you just start feeling suddenly awake and u can go study for another 2-4 hours-the whole night...</p>

<p>Washing my face and drinking a carbonated fruit drink help me stay up an extra hour or two. If I know I'll be up late ahead of time, I'll take a 2 hour nap earlier in the afternoon.</p>

<p>what i do is go to bed as soon as i get home which could vary frmo 7- 10.. so i go to bed then wake up according to what i ahve to get done. so i go through what i have to do and approximate the time it will take me. the earliest i woke up was 2am and it averages arouind 4am. Now i dont do this often.. only when i need to or a vball game is really late and im exhausted. It works wel because you are awake AND you know you only have a certain amount of time to get the work done so you work more EFFICIENTLY than you would otherwise. Not to mention you can end out with a decent amount of sleep!</p>

<p>I took a 3 1/2-hr nap earlier because I knew I'd be up late tonight. Wait, what am I doing on this board? :-X</p>
<p>I used to go to bed as soon as I got home after school and wake up at 3 AM. But a couple times my alarm didn't wake me up, and I was screwed. Luckily one of my teachers understood. (Shocking.)</p>
<p>1 bottle of Bawls will keep you up an extra 3-4 hours longer, and it tastes like cream soda! madr from something called guarana berry that has super high levels of caffine.</p>
<p>Popcorn and The Weather Channel. With those two things, you can't go wrong. They're the only reasons why I didn't go into hysterics when I was up at 3:00 a.m. last week.</p>
<p>nap for 15 minutes earlier in the day...i actually try to avoid that when i'm really tired cause then i can't sleep during the night and the cycle just continues...but if i have a huge essay to write, i'll usually take a 15 minute nap which is good to keep me awake for at least another 12 hours. and grade consciousness helps.</p>
