Whenever I've gotten less than 6 hours of sleep, I either sleep through the alarm or just press snooze almost unconsciously.

In the morning? lol that’s funny

To be honest, I don’t see how you can’t wake up during the morning. If you want to wake up early, time yourself when you wake up. For example, if I go to sleep at 8, I’ll wake up around 6.

Most of the time I feel like I need to do something so I get up at around 9 during the summer. Because I’m off campus in the morning during the school year, school starts thirty minutes later, and I have plenty of time to get ready.

@XxSkizzy Sorry I meant during the school year, haha. Not during the summer. Sometimes I might stay up a bit later than I should to study. Should I edit my question?

By opening my eyes.

I usually have an alarm set for 6 AM. I’ve been doing that since 3rd grade, so I can naturally wake up early.

Stupidly enough in this situation I stay home from school -.- this causes so many issues! For example I couldn’t get caught back up last year so I ended up getting almost all C’s. My best suggestion is to just carefully manage your time and alieviate as much stress as you possibly can. Start getting up early during the summer and seriously. Time nanagment will be your best friend.

My every morning:

The alarm clock rings. I slap it onto the floor. Good fight, alarm clock, moar sleep time.

Moral of the story: Slap alarm clock to be tardy to school

“Wake up in the morning feeling like P-Diddy”
I had to, guyz (I spelt it wrong on purpose before anyone attacks me).

Easy–I don’t! I’m homeschooled! Therefore, my ‘normal’ wake-up time is ~9:30. I almost never use an alarm clock. Jealous, anyone? :P

@Azismith: Unless you wake up at 9:30pm…

Morning - “the period of time between midnight and noon, especially from sunrise to noon.”

I have this problem to this day. I set 5 alarms on my phone in 10 minute intervals. No way to snooze all 5 at once. I usually am up around the 3rd or 4th.

@DiscipulusBonus: I wake up at 9:30 am… :)

I set an alarm for 5:50 and go back to sleep after that one for the blissful feeling of waking up and still having time to sleep. Then I actually get up at 6:20.

bump xD

I’ll bite:

I just realize that if I oversleep again and decide to just miss school instead…then I probably won’t graduate. Can’t be truant and get my acceptances revoked XD

Yay for senioritis status!

I have to wake up at 5:30 but I always end up falling back asleep and waking up at 5:45, and then I enter panic mode because I need to be out by 6:30 and I haven’t eaten breakfast or showered.

My mom wakes me up because I sleep through every alarm that we buy. She opens the lights in my room at 6 and attempts to wake me up again at 6:30. Usually, that doesn’t work, so I’m awake at 6:50 everyday. School is 10 minutes away and it starts at 7:15. I have to haul to get to school on time.

I’m the person who has to wake up everyone in the family, so when my alarm clock rings at 6:30 AM, I immediately roll out of bed. Sometimes I’ll check my phone as soon as the alarm clock rings, because the bright light helps me get up and out of bed (which is SO difficult when you’re all warm and comfy in your bed ahaha).
