How do you know your FA package?

<p>I have read many of the threads and it seems some of you have received an email containing information regarding how to access your FA; I have not. Though some people are able to log onto a website to check their FA without having received one, but it is not posted yet. I understand the rest of the FA packages will be put up over this weekend and into next week, but how to you gain access to this website? The only thing I get from this is that it is at my.gwu.edu, but from there how do you know what your pin is and password, and where do you go? Does that info come in an email, or have I just not found this info yet? Thank you guys in advance.</p>

Put in your GWID #

<p>if it says there is no information avaliable on the fin-aid page, does that mean im not getting any aid?</p>

<p>Go to “accept my award” and a screen will popup that may tell you if they need more information</p>

<p>Someone also mentioned in the other forum about financial aid that GW said that not everything was posted online yet. If you don’t see anything online, don’t fret - it’s probably coming in your admissions packet!</p>

<p>Hmm, I cannot even log into the system at my.gwu.edu to check it. I am definitely writing my Gwid and pass right so … Does anyone have same problem?</p>

<p>I think you might be making the same mistake I made when getting into the gweb mygw portal. Do not click the sign in on the MyGW
Instead look on the left column and you will see a tab that says GWEB INFO SYSTEM and it will bring you to the correct sign in area to put your ID and password.

<p>We received the official acceptance package in the mail today but no mention of Financial Aid.</p>

<p>If you are “locked out” just contact STS dept (email link and phone on login page) and they will get it fixed fast! This happened to me and within the hour I was able to login.</p>

<p>Thank you inuk, but I was logging through the gweb info system. It doesnt work… I am putting my Gwid with the letter G on the beggining and trying my pass as MMDDYY and MMYY99 just as they say on the page. One more thing, did you receive it via courrier service?(Fedex, DHL or any other)
