<p>I had to submit the CSS/Profile with estimates because one of my school's deadlines was REALLY early and my mom hadn't gotten her W2 forms yet... now we corrected and resubmitted the FAFSA but I'm not sure how to correct and resubmit the CSS/Profile.</p>
<p>You can’t update the Profile once submitted. You simply send in your 2009 tax return and other required forms when they are ready and before the deadlines listed by your schools. The colleges understand that the Profile contains estimates. This happens to lots of folks so do not worry that your numbers will not match once the 2009 figures are available to you.</p>
<p>I haven’t done it, but others say you print a copy and hand correct it. ?</p>
<p>Lilme…you need to contact EACH college and ask THEM how they want the Profile updated. Colleges deal with this in a variety of ways. Some colleges do NOT want a printed out copy with corrections. Ask the schools…</p>
