Hi, how does Brown view the sat’s when superscoring?

It takes the highest from each section right? But, since Brown now has score choice, would one sittting be looked at better, for example someone scores a 2100 on first and 2300 on second try and only sends in the 2300, another scores 2300 also, but superscored in lets say 3 different tries. Does it matter?

Also, Is there any difference between a 2190 and 2200?, should i merely take the SAT’s again to boost my writing and get that 2200 +, or does Brown just look at math and critical reading? ( i have 1470- good enough for Brown ED?)

Also, i am planning on taking bio and math II, i have a 710 in chem, is that ok for Brown PLME Ed. I have several strong ec’s so im not all depending on numbers.

Thanks

The second link has a table showing admit rates at various score ranges. The overall admit rate that year was 9.5% I think.

Thanks for the links, but i had already gone over them, i just wanted someone’s input as to wheter a 2190 was differnt from lets say a 2200-2220, wheter writing made much of a difference, and wheter my scores were enough for brown PLME Ed, considerding i do have ec’s (fairly good/strong).

Brown certainly does differentiate between one sitting scores and superscores. Also, there is really little difference between a 2190 and a 2220 especially since brown looks at each section individually. There is no “good looking number” bonus for a 2200. With regards to PLME the key is having strong ECs and experience in medicine as well as passionate essays.

That was really good advice, thanks^^

Bumppppppppppppp though, other opinions?
