How does housing going to work for me? I will be admitted for the Honors program.

<p>I have requested a double with Bath for the following dorms options.</p>

<li>Landis Hall </li>
<li>Gilchrist Hall </li>
<li>Wildwood Hall</li>
<li>DeGraff Hall </li>
</ol>

<p>My priority number is 211. </p>

<p>Can anyone help me with the following questions.</p>

<p>1) It says double with bath are limited in quantity. What are the chances that I get into Landis or Gilchrist?
2) Should I change my rooming option to have a better chance?
3) When will they make the announcements? How does the housing selection process work with the Honors school invitation?
4) Is the $225 refundable if I decide not to attend FSU?</p>

<p>$175 of the $225 is refundable. In other words, you will lose $50.</p>

<p>Pick a double not a double with bath. Double is a bath shared with one other room. Double with bath is a private bath. Not many so just request a double and your in in landis.</p>

<p>A 211 housing number is excellent. You’ll likely get Landis; the specific room type??</p>

<p>If you want a double with bath, and there are only 3-4, even with a 211 you might not get Landis. Upperclassmen in honors can return to Landis and scoop up the singles and the doubles with bath. If you want Landis without any worry, change to a double.</p>

<p>Yes, you can log on right now and update your housing preferences. And as many times as you wish up until the cutoff for the housing assignments are made. It doesn’t affect priority number.</p>

<p>What will affect priority number? Not paying the deposit within 10 days or if your student is under 18 yo, not returning the agreement signed by a parent within 10 days.</p>
