How dominant are politics?

I'm a junior looking at a bunch of colleges and I'm trying to narrow down my list. I am interested in some sort of science, most likely biology or neuroscience. It seems like Georgetown has pretty good programs in these areas, and they have pretty much all of the other requirements I have developed at this point (undergraduate population, proximity to a larger city, etc.). However, I am not big on politics...I have very little interest in them currently. Will an environment like Georgetown overwhelm me? Is discussion of politics a dominant part of campus life? Was anyone in the same position as I am before attending? Thanks for any advice!
