Time Distance from BC to BU?

I’m taking a course at BU this fall and was wondering how long (min and max time) it would take to travel from BC to BU on the t?

probably 20-30 mins? it depends on traffic and such and if you catch it leaving the station or wait for it to leave

20-30 minutes! It’s more like 15 minutes average, and 20 minutes max. Many stops between BC and BU have been eliminated. It’s also common to have B line train running express to BU.

I have traveled from BC to Park Street (granted farther than BU) which is right in the middle of the city. It took 45 minutes. I personally dislike the T especially in the cold winter when your waiting. 15 minutes is a modest estimate I would say between 20-30 minutes would be a good estimation and if you want to make it on time for class give yourself 40 minutes.

By car, who knows – Boston traffic ranges from a pleasant ride down a tree-lined avenue to something like the chariot race scene from the old movie ‘Ben Hur’.

By taking the T, maybe 20 minutes. Assuming one of the aforementioned car maniacs hasn’t crashed into a Green Line train (the T runs above ground like a trolley between BC and BU and someone’s always trying to beat it across the track) and caused the T to shutdown. Which happens about every 2 months.

But yeah, 20 minutes sounds about right on average.

took me about 20 mins today and that was w/ an express stop to harvard street…

Definitely around 20-30 mins, depending on traffic. They have only eliminated about 3 stops, and they eliminated them several years ago.

I make this commute every day to class. Sometimes it’s MUCH longer and sometimes it’s only 10 minutes (if the train runs express), but I’d say 20-30 is a good average.
