I think the best I’ve done in Math was A/A in Algebra I back in 8th grade. From then on it’s been C’s.

1)I’ve studied with friends
2)Friends have tutored me occasionally
3)I’ve asked help from the teacher after school
4)I’ve studied by myself
5)I’ve asked help from my parents

I get marginally worse scores, if I didn’t study all together which makes me feel like I wasted a lot of my time on this subject.I can study of the notes, the homework assignments, exams, the textbook, other textbooks, it doesn’t make that much of a difference.Math just isn’t my thing. But I’ve been able to “get by”.

I did same exact things this year hoping to get by and get my C in Precalc. For a lack of better words, my math teacher was a real ******.You don’t have to take my word for it,I mean half the class dropped after 1st semester because they were failing and the remaining people had D’s and C’s,few B’s and A’s.

I was actually passing the class 2nd semester with a C- up until like the last month or so of school, I failed a test badly which dropped my score down to a D,and we spent like a week reviewing for materials on the final that covered multiple chapters, so I ended up failing the final and got an F as a result. This is ridiculous if you look at my grades that semester, you know I’m not a bad student:

AP English Comp-A
Precalc-F
Spanish III-A
AP Psych-A
AP Bio-A
AP Art History-A

I mean on the surface, it doesn’t look like I put effort into that class, but I did.I even went in after school one day, and I said,“Mr. Armstrong can’t you just pass me with a D,are you really going to screw me over? This is my junior year, college apps are next fall, you can’t possibly do this to me”

Him:“I’ll think about it”

2 weeks later:F on my report card
