I've been looking at 0-6 PharmD programs at these schools and I'm not really sure how decent they are. Can anyone rate them for me?

University of the Pacific (Stockton,CA)
Northeastern U
Rutgers U
Mass. College of Pharm and Health Sciences
Univ of the Sciences in Philadelphia
Univ of Rhode Island
Univ of Connecticut
Duquesne U
Hampton U

UConn's PharmD prog. is supposed to be AMAZING. One of if not their best program. The recruitment/job opps. there are awesome, The brand new facilities are top notch.

Any major merit aid I can get from these schools? I mean, money is a very big factor in our decisions and I can't really attend a school that can't offer at last 1/2 of the tuition. :(

Rutgers, has one of the best if not the best ranked programs from what i've read/heard. If I'm not mistaken, that is.
One of my friends is going there this year.

University of the Pacific (Stockton,CA) -- No Doubt In Not the best
Northeastern U -- Great School, Expernsive, Your In
Rutgers U -- Most Selective but still very good/cheap
Mass. College of Pharm and Health Sciences -- In, not the best school
Univ of the Sciences in Philadelphia -- ditto
Univ of Rhode Island -- 110% In, Will Prob Give You Most $
Univ of Connecticut -- Not a 6 year Pharm D.
Duquesne U -- Your in
Hampton U -- An all black college if that impacts your decision

I've talked to a rep from UCONN at a college fair and he said that they don't have the 0-6 PharmD program

They're like LIU, you can do all 6 years there, but after 2 year you have to apply and then see if you make it into the professional phase

there's also: Albany College of Pharmacy, that's also a 0-6 PharmD program, that one, if you get accepted as a freshman you're guaranteeed into the professional

Oh and I think that with your stats you'll be in almost everywhere :)

and as for merit scholarships I think you'll be pretty good with everyone haha, you Are the valedictorian (sp?)

BTW: I know that the max merit scholarship money Rutgers gives an out of state resident is 5k

for MCPHS, you can get the max amount, 15k

if you want any other info about the schools, like tuition costs, the scholarships you can get, etc, just let me know (message me or you can post bacik on here) and I'll give you all the info I have :) I'm interested in pharmacy as well :D

Oh and you should Definatly apply to ACP :)

And what might that be? From what I hear, it isn't easy to get into the programs because so many people apply (the ones from high school and the ones transferring) and they have just as many (if not fewer slots) than other pharmacy schools...
