I’m currently a junior and in Algebra 2. My final grades have been Bs in all my past math classes-Algebra 1, Geometry, and my grade last semester. I have the choice senior year to take Trig and Pre-Calc or Statistics/AP Statistics. A lot of my friends have said that Trig and Pre-Calc are really hard. I’m currently in AP Psychology and AP English Language and Composition. Is AP Stats easy? I’m a little concerned on which to take because one, there are a few trig questions on the SAT/ACT and I’m afraid I won’t understand them and get a lower score because of that. And second, my school’s scheduling for next year is coming up soon.

FWIW, my daughter is in 10th grade and taking both precalc H and AP Stats. She enjoys both but finds precalc is “easier” and her grade is a bit higher in it. She is a math type person though, that could make a difference. AP Stats has more questions where she has to explain stuff and remembering specifically what phrasing to use and when is harder for her. The math itself is easy though.
