How hard is Freshman Science Honors?

Was anyone ever in this program? How hard is it to get an A the classes? Do you think it's harder to get an A in these classes or regular classes? Do you get a lot of homework? Does homework get included in your grade? Please help!

Hi! Sorry I can’t answer your questions because I’m hoping to be a part of the program (if space opens up). For the application, are the answers supposed to be and essay or just a short paragraph? Thanks!

I wrote 3 sentences each and I was fine. I’ve heard it’s mostly based off of sat/act

I have these exact same questions! I know for a fact that it’s harder to get an A in these classes because we’ll be taking advanced chemistry and biology (if we participate), so it will be harder.

Could someone who participated in FSH please help us?

it is not harder to get an A in FSH. sure, the work is a bit more intensive than the regular courses.

however you have to realize that FSH gives approximately 50% of the students an A whereas in the regular courses only the top 15% get As. and believe me, there are plenty of bright and motivated students in the regular courses that you would be competing against.
