So I'm a high school student aspiring to become a pharmacist. And I've been planning to apply to pharmacy school right after completing the 2 years of the undergrad pre-pharm requisites that most pharmacy schools require. However, I recently read an article pointing out the fact that it is becoming more and more difficult for students who only have 2 yrs of undergrad pre-pharm under their belt to compete with other pharmacy school applicants who have done all 4 yrs of undergrad study and have earned a Bachelor's degree. This got me wondering if I have any chance at all if I plan to finish all my pre-reqs in only 2 years...

I think it is impossible as most pharmacy schools are now turning out doctorate level.

UT Austin has a 2-2-2 program that accepts students into the pharmacy program straight out of high school. They also accept students in college so I think it is possible. Just google UT pharmacy.
