How hard is it to get in

What are the average stats for an out of state student to get into this school.

depends on the major. what are you looking at going into?!

ME or Aerospace Engineering or IE

ME is one of the hardest engineering programs to get in.. i believe IE would be the easiest one out of those three. don't have any out of state friends in those majors.. but i know someone who got in CE early decision with a 3.84 gpa and 31 act that was out of state. hope that helps!

The engineering majors are very difficult to get in.

We heard that out-of-state is tougher in every major - - - but on the other hand, the out-of-state students are paying $226 more per unit (in addition to the tuition quarterly fee) and so the 0-0-s student do bring in more money for the school.

My son is an out-of-state students there. He had a 3.6 unweighted and 30 ACT. Not engineering or arch though.

is there anyway to check the acceptance rate or how many people are accepted or such for certain majors?

When will CollegeBoard update the acceptance rate and stuff for this year?

yes, once cal poly updates their student profile. right now, they have the 2007 one up if you wanna look at that.
