Is it the hardest school to get into? Anyone have acceptance rates etc..?

77% I have heard.....

That's only half of the picture. You should also know that:

Median HS GPA for Admitted Engineering Freshmen - 3.9
Median SAT for Admitted Engineering Freshmen - 1330

The 77% acceptance rate is misleading. It's harder to get into U-M Engineering. The application pool is self-selecting. The "weaker" applicants apply to LSA.

GoBlue is right. If you are a 4.0 (unweighed) student with a 1400+ on the SAT, your chances are excellent. But if you are a 3.5 student with a 1200 oin the SAT, your chances are next to nil.

Wow you know my GPA! I am a 3.5 student with a 2330 SAT (740CR/790W/800M).... Does the score make up for the low GPA?

And I have absolutely NO ECs that are technology/engineering related......Nothing fancy like research or whatever.... But I do have other ECs

If your 3.5 is unweighed and you take a tough course load, then yes, you have a very good chance of getting in. Your SAT is excellent.

my courseload isn't exactly HARDCORE EVERYTHING AP but few APs herre and there :O

also do they consider SAT IIs for admission?

Still, you have a good chance. Apply as soon as possible GoChris. And not, Michigan does not consider SAT IIs. You lose nothing by sending them, but from what I understand, SATIIs are not requested and therefore, not considered. Hoedown would not more about that.

okay thanks~!
