How is that so? Do they make an exception for Wharton students?

k, it is actually from jan 23rd to jan 28th.
They are doing on-campus presentations on 22nd or so.
I think the exception might be for all targets?

Regardless, how many students do they take for interviews?

14, how many at your school?

hmm ok so they take 14 from Wharton?

so on the website it says they'll notify BY March 15. That does mean that they will notify sometime between now and march 15, correct? Or is it like "We make our final decision on March 15"?

does that mean they take Wharton kids right off the bat for interviews.....they don't have to go through the same application process as everyone else?

It's probably not a situation in which all Wharton kids get interviews. Applications are received and interviews are rolling up until they make notifications, which I assume is March 15 at the latest.

NYU IB JPMHP presentation is on Jan 29-which is the same day as the resume drop...interviews are on Valentine's Day.

I hear that interview calls happen rolling...

then that means I should have heard by now. (mightynick got his notification 2nd week of jan, and he applied on the same date as me)

The only thing that I received was an email to turn in my updated transcript by the 11th. And I have not heard since.

correct me if I'm wrong, but they never asked for a transcript on the online application, did they?

I do not remember if they asked for it or not.
Did you happen to ever can a confirmation email that they received your application? I didnt.

nope. i'm anxiously waiting to hear from them. most internships interview in mid february, so if I don't hear within the next 2 weeks, then that means no internships for me this summer.

well, it is freshman summer so while an internship would be great, it is not required to enter finance.

At least they send out rejection emails....that is 1 way for sure we know we didnt make it.

i had my interview today. it went pretty well. both were alums and were friendly--no technical questions, nothing confrontational. mostly stuff about occaisions when you were a leader or a good team member. i glanced at the signup sheet and there seemed to be about 10 or so slots for the honors program, 3-4 being freshmen.

if you want some info on my profile, i'm a frosh at williams college (econ and polisci major), 3.84 GPA. little to no finance background outside self-taught.

as well as the interview went, i don't know my chances because i'm not sure about the size of the program. williams is a target school and we had an on campus event two days before the resume drop (jan 10th), and we heard within a week to 10 days if we were invited to first rounds. i'm not sure if there's a second round/superday, so i guess it all depends on how much i stood out. last year williams sent 2-3 sophomores but no frosh--so i figure i need to outshine all but the best sophomores to get an offer. we'll see, supposedly decisions will be made within two weeks or so.

i applied around the 25th of december and still haven't heard back yet. What is up with that?

Should I be looking forward to a rejection notice? Or will I not even get that?

I guess we just have to wait it out. At least you guys go to a target school. :(

How did they contact for interviews? Phone I am guessing...
