<p>Hey, last year I luckily was provided a chance to participate in a Harvard Alumni and got a Harvard Book Prize(which has not arrived yet;;). I know this would be helpful if I were to apply for Harvard but how helpful is it? Will mentioning this prize in applications for other universities other than Harvard have a negative effect? For example, other universities having seen this prize in the application could go like "If so proud of your book prize, why bother for a school other than Harvard?" </p>
<p>Go ahead and mention it. You should know that the Book Prizes are just as helpful as any other school-wide prize, and not a bit more(even at Harvard). </p>
