How important are grades second semester senior year?

If you've been accepted to a top school, will they expect you to keep up perfect grades, or are you allowed some slack?

bumpbumpbump!

They expect you to continue doing about as well as you were doing when they accepted you. A little lower won’t get you rescinded, but it’s easy to slip from a little lower to alotta* lower, so be careful.

just dont fail

I think your GPA can’t fall more than 1 point from before and no F’s and probably no D’s.

Different schools are more strict on this. Apparently the UCs are infamous for rescinding. I hear Yale, too.

Hypothetically, if one were a straight-A student, would getting a B or two second semester result in rescinding?

Hahaha my grade fell a full letter grade. I feel a strange sense of accomplishment.
Anyway, nah, there’s no way that you’ll get rescinded for something so little as that.

^^ Nope. You won’t get rescinded, and you’ll probably raise some eyebrows if you get ALL B’s…

The rule of thumb - no D’s or F’s and no more than 2 C’s. I read this somewhere, not sure where. Probably only pertains to a certain college.

not really.
