How important are interviews?

I just had my interview..I don't think I did very well.

How important are interviews for Claremont McKenna?

why don't you think you did well?

honestly, I don't think it's the deciding factor. however, it IS a school that stresses leadership etc..etc..and they might care more about you present yourself than you might think.

but most likely, you're being too hard on yourself. If your stats, activities, and essays are superb, I doubt a not-so-good interview will kill you.

I did an on campus interview w/ a senior and she told me that the interviews are pretty much only supposed to be able to help you- not hurt you. I don't know how true that is, but that's all I've heard.

My S didn't interview last year and was accepted, I wouldn't stress about it.

I had an interview for Claremont about a week ago with an alumnus and I don't think it went well either. My interviewer and I just didn't hit it off. I'll cross my fingers that it doesn't negatively impact either of us!
