How important are SAT and ACT and Subject tests?

<p>I have a decent GPA. 4.1 and lots of extra curriculars/leadership and essays should be good.
2 sport varsity athlete (4 years both) </p>

<p>I'm want to get in to at least one of my top 3 schools.</p>

<p>Stanford
UCLA
UC Berkeley</p>

<p>I'm also applying to all the UCs. </p>

<p>I have really low SAT and ACT and Subject scores...</p>

<p>Math 2: 550... screwed. should i even send it in?
Got a 530 in math 1 though woo. haha </p>

<p>SAT Highest was 1530 .. taking again in decemember 4th time.. i've improved a little each time i took it. </p>

<p>ACT Highest was 26.. taking again in decemeber for 5th time... LOL. Good idea bad? stick with a 26 and go for it? Inputs?</p>

<p>SATs are NECESSARY. YOU NEED TO IMPROVE. They are a baseline test to show your aptitude. You really need to pick these up. If you live in Cali, I’d say you have a shot at the lower range UCs, but if you don’t bump these SAT’s, you don’t have much of a shot.</p>
