It looks like for my first semester of senior year, I’ll be getting a C in one of my three AP classes. Aside from that I should get all As.
Throughout high school I’ve only had 3 Bs, taken many AP/honors courses, had high standardized test scores, and a lot of involvement in extracurriculars and community service.
I’m looking to get into Berkeley or UCLA, and I’m worried that this C will make a negative impression on these schools.
So don’t feel like you need to sugar coat-it; will one C in senior year probably make these schools reject me?
(Also idk if I sound super arrogant in this post, but I’m honestly just freaking out so I’m sorry if I come across as snobby or something)
Unless they request it, UCLA or Cal normally would not see your senior year transcript until after a decision has been made (accepted students need to send a final transcript by July 1).
It is important to get at least a C in every class though. If you are accepted, they might withdraw the offer if you get an F senior year.
Ds or Fs are fatal.
