I plan to major in either physics or economics. I have already taken SAT II in Math II, Physics and Chemistry and will take another 2 in World History and Biology. I am wondering, how important are the last 2 in these majors? Will submitting all 5 scores be good or bad for my application to college (both upper and lower tier colleges)?

Not sure to which colleges you are referring as upper or lower tier but you already have all that you need… Be aware that there are only 30 colleges that require SAT subject tests and those require only 2 and most of those consider for admission only the highest two. Some want a math and science for physics and some recommend a math for economics, and thus you already have what you need. There are other colleges that recommend or consider subject tests but do not require them and those recommend two except for Georgetown and Johns Hopkins which recommend three (meaning again you already have what you need). Some want a language test for placement not admission. The majority of colleges won’t even consider subject tests for admission if you submit them and thus you should check each particular college to which you intend to apply to determine what is needed.

Thank you very much, drusba. Are there any more opinions on this matter?
