How important is it to visit (for a transfer)

Hey, I am applying for spring transfer admission at WashU.
I have a 1430/1600 SAT, a (hopefully around) 3.8 GPA and some decent, but not spectacular extracurics in college coming froma top 40 lib arts school.
How important is it for me to visit and tour? Are there other ways of showing interest if i dont have time/means?
Thanks,
Nat

Hi there, I applied for transfer admission for the fall and was accepted. I think its very important to show interest. I visited and had an interview and I think that really helped the adcom decide to admit me. If you have any questions about the transfer process, feel free to ask!

Hey, thanks for the response
what were your stats and where did you transfer from? I would like to visit, I am just not sure if i'll be able to. Do you think they offer oncampus interviews over the summer?

My HS GPA was 3.75, ACT 30 and college GPA of 4.0 I'm transferring from Western Illinois University. I bet they would have summer interviews, at least in the late summer if not all summer long. That'd be a good question to call and ask about.

i dont think u need to visit

in fact, i have never visited, never had an interview

got waitlisted as a freshman, accepted as a transfer (most likely not attending)

good luck

how come you decided not to go?

b/c i have other options that are more favorable at the time being
