Title pretty much says it all. I know that I would have to go to the registrar for my transcript to be sent, but is there anyone else within my current school I would have to talk to to wrap things up, whether that be finances or anything else?
If it matters I will be transferring from Rutgers.
When you are applying, you need to requests transcripts, and you need to get letters of recommendation.
Once you have been accepted and decided that you will transfer, you should speak with your advisor about the proper steps for officially withdrawing, and with the financial aid office and bursars office about money issues.
Usually, you should still register for next semester if worse comes to worse and you don’t get accepted. After being accepted, you can withdraw from all the classes you registered for. Like the poster above me has said, contact your academic advisor and tell them that you transferred so they aren’t in the dark about your situation.
