How is Montclair with business?

Do they have a good business program? Specifically for business management.

Also, is there any accelerated program or anything so that I could get my Masters in 5 years, or something of the sort?

As a School Counselor, I would say that Montclair has a solid business program, but you should also look at how good the school fits you. This includes social life (nightlife, greek life if you choose, business related clubs) and the goals of students in your program. You want to be able to find people to study with. Make sure to get involved on campus so you show you are social in your profession when applying for internships and jobs.

Observing as an undergraduate business major from the University of Miami, Montclair has excellent proximity to NYC, a train ride away via NJ Transit, (with a train station on campus!) for internships which could be arranged around your classes.

Great internships, such as Nielsen for Marketing, Deloitte for Accounting, Merrill Lynch for Finance, highlight what you did as an undergraduate and experience shows employers you can do what they expect you to do. Wherever you end up, I’d advise going for internships like these at least for your Junior and Senior years and during the summers. Make sure to have earlier internships to prepare to apply for the major ones. Consider interning at a non-profit to show take business ethics seriously and to diversify yourself. Work hard and network!

I know someone personally who majored in Accounting at Montclair and works for Deloitte. A CPA is a CPA.
