Anthro 101 is really easy. It’s a pretty interesting course as well.

I’ve never heard of your chem 130 professor (maybe new?), however the class is either easy or hard. I found it to be relatively easy (with 1 year of chem in high school), while others I know found it hard. So I think it really depends on the person and if they like chemistry or not. Since it seems you’re in LSA honors, I’m sure it won’t be horrible for you.

From my friends in LSA honors, I’ve heard greatbooks wasn’t that bad. However, I haven’t taken it, so I’m not 100% sure.

I have no comment about Pysch 120 since I haven’t heard much about it. However, since it’s a first year seminar, I would expect it to not be too bad.

Overall I think it’s a decent schedule. Hope this helped!

By the way you posted twice, just so you know =P.

People that find Chem 130 hard are the droves of students sitting as far away as they can from the prof in that giant lecture hall while they watch movies or go on facebook on their Macs and talk to friends, or pre meds :D

Do the HW, get the easy quiz grades, show up to lecture.

I only had 1a year of Chem my Soph year in HS. I don’t think I “learned” anything new. I just remebered a lot of stuff. If you had a good Chem class in HS you should be fine.

The prof doesn’t mean much in that class too. You can use the book if you need to learn something. I never opened mine though… waste of

^ OP doesn’t say what he is majoring in, no need for calc if they don’t know (although most people that need chem should need calc) or they’re taking it 2nd sem.

It looks like a typical freshman schedule to me, but you don’t say what your strengths / weaknesses are, or what you are considering concentrating in. In all though it looks pretty doable if you dedicate some time to chem! At orientation some people said great books involved quite a bit of reading but wasn’t too bad.

Lol my bad : I am good at math ad sciences, english is my weakness lol. And I’m thinking of majoring in psych and anthropology with a premed track. I’m taking stats 250 next semester and math 115 (calc) in the summer because I only need it for taking physics.
