I just called them at 949-824-6703. They said that waitlist will be anounced starting May 15. Seems the website is in error.

It can’t be May 15th for freshmen! Previous years, the last day to be notified was May 15th. I believe that’s for transfers!!!

Why would UCI just put a bunch of people on the waitlist this year? If they put a lot of people on the waiting list then most likely they might accept a good number of us

I hope that I am wrong about what I heard over the phone. I would be very happy if someone called and corrected my statement and that it is indeed May 1.

I did mention to them about how the website states that waitlisted acceptance will be anounce on May 1-15. She said that it was wrong.

I tried calling about two weeks ago and they said decisions will come out a few days after May 1st. I think she thought you were a transfer? Maybe? I don’t know if someone could call that would be amazing.

Ya I think that is for transfers. They would definitely not make us wait that long. It should come out this week. Someone call and make sure!

“When will waitlist decisions come out for freshman applicants”

^yes I said freshman applicants
Person: “The latest will be by may 15th. You’ll get an email for the decision if it does change”

So whoever called them probably wasnt specific enough and the person thought it was for transfer students
