how is this for CFA?

I am a female. 5' 8" and 130 lb

25 push-ups
65 Sit ups
29 b-ball
31.5 sec flexed arm hang
11.13 Shuttle
6:14 Mile Run

The test administrator noted in the comments section that I only had about a week to train for the test due to last minute application. He also noted that I had two track meets in the past 3 days, so fatigue was a factor. Do you think I passed?

bball throw and pushups are a bit sketchy, but the other stuff looks fine.

good job. i think you passed

yes i did! thanks

so you're a girl right? wow i really thought we had to do more pushups than that

yeah I am a girl. As I said, my form noted extenuating circumstances, so I am not sure if that was taken into account. I am sure I was at the low end for push ups no matter what though.

You are a guy though right? That is probably why you have to do more push ups. I think girls have a harder time with them.

how do u know if u passed?

ask your liasion officer to check-- they have access to parts of your file that you can't see and they can let you know if you passed/failed. they can also see what your overall status is.
here are the levels from bottom to top:
Not Competitive
Risk
Competitive
Admisable
Offer Admission

who is the liasion officer

they are your local officer (unless your residence is remote or somethin i guess) who will help you with the app and answer any questions you have. to find his/her name, log onto your candidate portal at the usma website and their phone or email should be listed somewhere. contact them asap

cool, since you're a girl I think you did great. How do you know you passed? Have you been accepted already?

Nice job on the sit-ups btw. I'm ashamed to say you did almost double what I could do (yes I'm a guy). I'm retaking the test tomorrow to bring that sit-up score up (I had like 0 time to train as well). I've been doing sit-ups every day since I found out I failed though, so I'm hoping for the best.

yeah I have been offered admission contingent on passing my medical. I had to do some paperwork sorts of stuff for remedials for my medical. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed now! I went down to visit WP this week an on overnight and it is really just unreal. I loved it. Good luck on your CFA!

Wow really? you were already offered admission? That's great! how long after your file was complete was it before you were offered admission? Mine is complete as of yesterday.

Thanks so much for the "good luck." Unfortunately, I only improved by 6 sit-ups, I completed 39. The regional commander tells me my file will be reviewed this week, so I'm hoping to hear from them soon. Problem is, apparently my situps put my file at risk, so we'll see how that goes. I'm planning on visiting as well if I'm offered admission, I hear it is a beautiful campus. Great mile run, by the way - I used to be that fast in HS (umm faster, actually haha), but then college happened! lol

haha thanks. I am sure if you get in your running will improve very fast. If sit ups are the only thing in the way for your file, we can keep our fingers crossed that you still get in:)

I was actually offered admission 2 or 3 weeks after my file was complete. I was lucky though, because I only actually OPENED the file a couple weeks before that.

Keep me updated on your application!
