Okay so I've done the numbers and so far I have a gpa unweighted of 3.86 and weighted I'd have about a 4.54, idk the unweighted gpa seems kind of low to me given my past report card just didn't look great. Anyway, with that gpa, and a 2300 on the SAT, a 33 on the ACT, a 770 on the chem subject test (I plan on doing bio and math 2 next year), and next year I plan on acting, doing robotics (at our school it's a huge time investment), and key club. Given that, how much more would I need to get into ucla? I want to stay in the la area because acting is my passion, and I want to double major with acting and medical field, although I don't think I'll be a doctor, I still have time to decide my focus.

If you can write excellent personal statements that exhibit your passions then you should get in. Those statistics and activities will not hold you back, but it’s your personal statement that can differentiate you from the other applicants and makes you special.

Oh yeah, I keep putting off the essays. I mean I know they’re there it’s just of all the things I need for my application I’m actually looking forward to that because I have so much to write about, thanks for the help!
