Hello, I am new this whole website so forgive me if I am doing any of this wrong however I could really use some advice.
I am finishing community college in California with a degree in Political Science and am looking to transfer to the University of Michigan or I believe college of LSA to pursue Biopsychology. I want to go here because I have heard the program is amazing and I have been wanting to leave state for some time now, so it feels like a really good fit for me.
I guess what I am wanting to ask is, do I realistically have a shot at even being considered or will I most likely get laughed at? My GPA is extremely average sitting at a 2.94, (and going up) (probably not by much though) (idk how to calculate it) I have taken some psychology classes that I have done well in however only one will transfer which is fine I just feel I have nothing to show for.
I know this is what I want to do and I have a lot of heart, so many ideas of things I want to pursue in this field most of them coming from my own life experiences and passion to work with children and I am more than likely going to apply even if everyone on here tells me I’m dreaming, just wondering how low my hopes should be. Thanks!
