How long does UCF take to send decisions?

My transcript was sent out in November and I still have not heard back. I know it is rolling admissions but how long should it take?

For.ev.er. If you check some of the other posts, you’ll see some people submitted their applications in Sept/Oct and just heard back (deferred).

The higher your GPA and ACT, the sooner you might hear.

@reebooter good job on the Sandlot reference…I was about to post the same !

update: I got waitlisted. That can come out May 31st at the latest. I will almost definitely have to make a decision before then so this is a little frustrating

@bdkyellow it really is frustrating. My son has been waiting on a real decision since October and now he has to decide to wait a little longer for UCF or just move on to one of the other schools that did accept him. Very stressful since UCF is his first choice. This rolling admissions thing seems like a nightmare now :frowning:

Hoping you all hear positive news soon!

@springsmom my son is also waiting. We applied in November for engineering. SAT 1450 GPA 4.4 and no answer yet. So not sure if high scores brings an early decision or not. Will have to go with one of the other schools that accepted him if we do not hear back soon as HOUSING and ORIENTATION options will become limited.

@bdkyellow what major did you apply to? I am wondering which areas may be filled up?

I applied to International Relations but I applied out of state so that may make a difference

Curious how many are from in state versus out of state. My son applied and its been just over a week and we have not heard anything yet. We are from illinois. Thanks!
