I'm a rising junior in HS and taking 4-5 AP classes and I need a binder for each class to stay organized... But how am I supposed to carry 7 binders in my backpack every day? And I HATE keeping stuff in my locker because I have to rush between every class and we only get like 4 minutes...

I have two (one for 3 classes), which helps me because I have block scheduling. Some of my teachers ask for a binder just for their class, but I just don’t follow that rule because they never notice.

This year i had none, next year chem will require one and HOPEFULLY only 1 other teacher requires one because i HATE carrying binders, or anything i don’t “need”

One for every academic class, which means 3 or 4 every semester. I keep a 5 subject notebook for my notes. I use the Mead notebinders so they don’t take up much space

Use folders, not binders. Go buy decent-quality plastic folders and keep one for each class. Empty them of useless crap regularly. Keep them in your backpack, it’ll really help with the weight issue.

The accordion folder is apparently a mystical secret.

I might get a binder for Cinema to make my teacher happy (he wants everyone to have one, I act like a special snowflake and refuse to waste my money on one, still get good grades and liked by the teacher anyways), and possibly one for A&P because I want to save that stuff to study for college A&P.

I also have the same problem. I decided to just use folders at school with all the current material for class and keep binders at home where I store old homework and notes after a unit is finished in class, then if a big test is approaching or I am preparing for a semester exam, I will bring my binder to school. That way, I usually will just have to have a couple of binders with me. Also, if your school allows backpacks that helps as well!

I have one binder (and 5-tab dividers) for each of my seven classes, but some of my classes require folders also, plus composition books (in other classes, we don’t even use our binders). Binders make me feel more organized than, say, accordion folders or anything of the sort. I like that I can flip through the pages without having to take everything out. It is a pain to hole-punch everything, though. Oh, and since I go to a relatively small school, I only carry two binders at a time and keep everything else in my locker.

I only have 1 1-inch binder, and it’s not really even for school. It’s where I keep papers of quotes from books that I like and all my to-read booklists, and all the cool riddles I copy down. My school papers just get shoved into my backpack. Who needs organization?

I use a five subject notebook with pockets. Binders take forever for me to open and close, so I don’t use them…it’s also a pain for me to keep having punch holes in teacher handouts.

Beginning of year: 2 binders, one for morning classes and one for afternoon, dividers used to separate each class. And a homework folder to go with each binder.

Middle of year: 1 binder, backpack looks like it got hit by a tornado.

Have 1 binder with dividers for school. At the end of topics empty it into seperate binders for each class at home. Simple and you don’t have to carry coo much.
