just wondering...tehe

maybe about 10 each test

It's hard to say, since 2 questions could cost you 50 points or 10 points. Heh..

snap....Anyone out there with a 2100 and above and know how many you missed???? Come on you geniuses! Show your faces!

i'm pretty sure you can miss 2-4 in each section and walk off with a 2100. I got a 2130 and i got like 2-3 wrong and 1 miss in each section.

700 math like 4
700 verbal like 6-7
700 writing like 6-7 depending on the essay

hmmmmmmmm....

really? I got a 710 in the math section and i think i got more then four wrong...or at least it seemed like it

depends on the test u can get 5 wrong or in a rare case 6 wrong if u got some wrong on gridins or left them blank

i see....darn it gotta study more for Saturday...any tips? Did you guys study for that 2100 and above or was it like your first time looking at a SAT test.

I agree with SAT=MyKryptonite's, it's basically 4 math wrong 700, about 7 verbal wrong 700, and 7-8 writing 700.

Would you say it's 7-8 wrong with a 12 essay for writing?

This might be of some use. It will vary from test to test of course. https://satonlinecourse.collegeboard.com/digital_assets/pdfs/eri/scoring_2005-2006.pdf

that seems too generous compared to what these guys are talking about...dunno what to believe.

On the June SAT reasoning exam, if you missed two problems on the math section, your score went down to 740; to get a 700 in math, you would have to get every question except 3. For Writing, on the mc, if you got 4 wrong, it went all the way down to 690. On the CR, you can only 5 wrong for a 700.

=)

zening is quite right

like many of us have said, it depends on the exam, the June SAT was ridiculously easy compared to the other sats, thats why the curve was harsher..but the curve from that website is most definitely inaccurate..

xindianx, would you say the curve from the website (College Board) is inaccurate because it's too generous or too harsh?

i got a 770 math missing one, 700 verbal missing like 6ish, and 690 writing missing like 7ish, 12 essay though
