Which colleges grant the most credits for AP grades? I've been browsing around since I received my score report, and was pleasantly surprised to see that many institutions will transfer a 5 in U.S. History for 6 or 7 credits. I know that the process is usually very imprecise, but does anyone know of schools that grant a great amount of credit to qualified students?

I think a variety of schools give a lot of credit. Some give you lots and some a little. There are MANY :) colleges in the US so it's hard to go thru all of them and see their specific AP policies. I think many state schools'll give you lots.

I got 50 credits from Santa Clara...basically I got credit for all 10 of my AP classes...including 8 from chem, and 12 from calculus bc.

Community Colleges basically give credit for anything. State Unis give credit for most. Only the top colleges really slack off on giving you credit (Stanford barely gives credit for anything).

I would've gotten 66 credits, but my college caps out at 30...
