How Many Freshman Applicants vs. Other grades?

<p>Schools such as Deerfield had something around 2096 applicants last year, and I know that freshman or "preps" have the most spots to fill, so I would assume that as much as 1500 applicants are applying for freshman year. Of course, if this is true, not all of them will get accepted but it is likely that a lot of them will be accepted by other schools in which they applied... I was just curious if anyone had any clue or guess as to how many sophomores or other grades applied in comparison to the majority of freshman applicants.</p>
