im applying to 15 xD

Nineteen 1 for 1 so far! 10 reaches (incl. HYS), 5 matches and 4 safeties… A LOT of work but I feel diversification will help me get the best choices after the “crapshoot”. Even found five more schools I wish I had applied to afterwards…

Applied to 13. Accepted to 10. Waitlisted at 1. Rejected to 1. Waiting on 1.

Haha I lol’d irl

Applied to 8. Accepted to 3 (2 safety, 1 mildly competitive) waiting on 5 (2 ivy, 3 top 20 schools) I think I applied to more colleges than anyone else at my high school.

Applied to 14

Rejected at 1
Waitlisted at 1
Accepted at 0
Waiting on 12

One school. If I hadn’t gotten in, I was planning on applying to five schools.

I applied to 5, accepted to 4, waiting on the last one. I just got into my reach today:) and already got into my safety and my safety-safety a few months ago. So right now I’m deciding between attending my reach or my first safety. Decisions…Decisions…

Applied to 8, accepted to 4, waiting on 4.

I recently met a girl who had applied to 60-something schools (fees waived)! She went to Berkeley.

^ Holy crap.

I applied to 11, 4 of which were UCs (so really it was more like 7, since the UCs all have the exact same application). I’ve gotten into 3 so far, and am waiting to hear back from the rest. Wishing you all luck with impending decisions :)

applied to 16, have gotten 6- most of mine are schools in a comfortable range, although a school I saw as a high match/ low reach (w and m) accepted me early into an honors program so that was surprising

no rejections, but im expecting them from the ivys next week! (whoot)

breakdown: 3 safeties(including flagship state school, got a full ride), 7 matches(easy match- BC, less sure- USC( , 6 reaches- 4 ivies and two top- LACs)

Applied to 7, accepted at 3 of them, still waiting on the other 4.

Applied to 5, got accepted at 3, and waiting on 2

S applied to 6, accepted at 5, waiting on 1. He was accepted at his stretch school, but really likes WPI. All the scholarship offers were within $2,000 of each other, and we’re hoping a bump up from his favorite will make the final decision a no-brainer.

I originally only applied to four but then applied to two more last minute. So six total.

Right now I’m 4/4 and should be hearing from the other two sometime soon!

Good luck to all others waiting to hear back. :]

I applied to 1.

I would have applied to more, but I got into my first choice in December before all of my other applications were due, and since it’s a public school… the money issue is about as minimized as it possibly can be.

I applied to 16, but looking back I wish I had’ve applied to at least 20.

There are 5 schools that I kind of regret not applying to, I was so sure they would reject me. And if I had’ve applied that may have been the case, but I had fee waivers and “you never know, until you try”. 3 of the schools offered fee waivers to me, 1 was free because of a scholarship I applied for, and the 5th school I wanted to apply to sent me a letter ( not a likely but more of like a letter of acknowledgement) and I was too much of a coward to apply to any of them.

I can’t help but wonder how things would’ve turned out for me if I had’ve applied to more of the reach schools I was interested in. But oh well, whats done is done. :(

You guys are nuts. Seriously.

I applied to 12 schools. Accepted to 2, Deferred EA and then waitlisted at 1, Rejected at 1, Still waiting on the other 8.

I kind of feel like it was too many, since (like a lot of the others on here) I really only would seriously consider a few of them. The two I was accepted at are fairly competitive and a little above safety range, but they’re not too too hard to get into. The one I was deferred at is a top 20, the reject is on of the best schools in the country. All of the schools I have left are mostly top 20, except for one slightly below the top 20 and two Ivies.

I mostly wish I had applied to more targets. I’m terrified for April 1.

I applied to 9.
Deferred EA at 1
Accepted at 5
Still waiting for 4 (Including where I got deferred from)

I think I applied to the right number.
