Hi -

So I'm curious, how many additional supplements to your application are too many?

To be more specific, art plays a huge role in my life, and I'm pretty decent at it, so I'm thinking about submitting an art supplement with my application.
However, what I really want to major in college is English(Creative Writing) and some people have suggested I submit a creative writing supplement. From what I understand though, colleges only look at that 'if they have time' and they will be reading my essay which would at least sort of give them a sense of a way I write.
Lastly, I play a varsity sport and could probably be considered a "leader" on my team (won MVP, etc.) so again, some people have suggested I have my coach write a supplement letter.

Colleges say supplements aren't necessary, and the last thing I want is to appear like I am padding my application in order to hide something, but art, writing, and sports are all a huge part of my life and I really want to make sure that comes across in my application. I get the feeling that three supplements might be too many, and everyone is telling me different things, so what do you suggest I do?

All suggestions are greatly appreciated :).
