How many times can i take SATs?

<p>There are alot of rumors regarding how many times you can take the SAT's without being looked down on by admissions officers. Does anyone know if there is any truth behind the number of tests one should take?</p>

<p>I recently got a 1870 on the november test and i want to plan my SAT tests i am going to take later on. This was my first one, and i would also like to take one senior year (07) october. I am probably also going to take one in January or March of 07. So that would be 3 tests total, would i be overdoing it if i take another one in June?</p>

<p>I wouldn't go over 3 unless you really believe that you can somehow improve your score. </p>

<p>The best thing that you can do is practice as many times as possible before taking the real test.</p>

<p>for UC's it doesn't matter, the UCSD admissions officer told me that you can take it as many times as you want; they will disregard all other scores except for the highest one.</p>
