How much do you make an hour at your job? and where?

I tutor this little Chinese girl in reading and writing. Her mother approached my mother and asked her if I was willing to tutor her, and she offered my mother to pay me $30 originally, but my mother said it was too much... they bargained for a bit, and they both agreed on $28 finally. Asian parents, I'm telling you.

However, it's only just once a week.

I'm thinking of quitting but telling everyone who I tutor that I'll now be offering sessions for $35/hour and they can just pay it straight to me :] cus they'd think they were getting a discount lol.

Haha, I meant what I said. My mother felt like it was too much, so she bargained with the lady to lower the price. The lady said no, it was fine, my mother disagreed, and they then both settled on $28.
