for those who work, how much do you earn per hour?

$40 (tutor)

Damn, how many hours a day do you work?

it's actually not that much when you factor in the preparation

$10-20, usually $15.
Horseback riding instructor. And actually, that's DIRT FREAKING CHEAP for riding lessons. And I only work like 5-10 hours a week.
And I usually stay after for an hour or two cleaning around the barn or training horses for my boss.
But cash under the table is pretty sweet no matter how you look at it.

I believe I'll be going to work as a file clerk at a doctor clinic for about $10 an hour. Not positive, though.

$7.50. Although that should change to $8.00 soon. I work 9-10 hours a week. I don't need a job, but I like the responsibility and having a source of money apart from my parents. (:

$65. Music instructor.

^ Wow. Where do you work?!!! Most local schools charge tops 40/hr...and give about half to the teachers...and individuals charge $60 for high qual talent

kchen, how many years have you been on the job? typically for tutoring the rate goes up after you've been doing it for a while

$8.00/hr as an intern. Usually i don't do much though, and I get free unlimited sodas/juice and my own office. So it works out great.

I work at a local elementary school. Honestly, it's pretty decent for what I do. I have a lot of difficulty controlling nine kids for an hour... some of them are verbally abusive (to each other). Apparently, the music program has a lot of funding. I don't know how much music program teachers usually get paid, but I do know that high-quality individual teachers can charge much more than $60 (my music instructor charges $90/hour).

I started in October. I never thought I'd get a job in high school. My parents prohibited me from working... that is, until I received this offer. :)

pharmacy tech $9/hr. Pretty good, I work on weekends and while saturday is usually busy, sunday is pretty lax and I spend most of the time readings magazines.

6.75 an hour. :( they don't ever give me any hours either. the only reason i have a job is so that my first year of college is not spent wearing only a potato sack and eating ramen.

10.50
Well.. used to anyway.. I worked at kodak (sales assistant)- it was a pretty good deal since no one came in and I just studied and did my homework all day/night. So I basically got paid for doing my homework/study.

^^ that's sweet

tutoring was nice because you learned in the process. but then it became purely a job after you get the coveted 2400

I'm with NoFX, except with less pay. I get paid $5.35 (barely above minimum wage) to sit and do my homework at the library desk, etc.

I have two job. I make $7.00 at both, one is in retail and the other is at the newspaper.

$20... for putting all my piano teacher's sheet music into a database. XD. Not on a regular basis, though.

I used to tutor for about $13

20, for art instruction.

$8 hr + tips
