How Much Do You Pay/will Pay To Attend Berkeley? Thanks

what? I don't get paid to go to berkeley???

no, how much is your tuition.

For Spring 2006, it was about $3,300 for the semester (Campus Registration Fees, Dorms are extra). I decided to commute and work in my hometown so that is all the money that the university gets from me. (No loans, financial aid or Debt :))

mucho dinero.

This is kind of a trick question, since for residents of the state of CA, it's not called "tuition" -- it's called "fees". It's broken up into a whole bunch of categories like university registration fee, education fee, campus fee, class pass fee, and health insurance fee (which can be waived). So.... for me all of the fees (not including dorm and meals) will be about $7,165 for the year. Non-residents pay the same amount, PLUS tuition, which is an additional $15,000 or so a year. The breakdown for Berkeley can be found at http://registrar.berkeley.edu/Registration/feesched.html#campus

I'm not sure why it's not called "tuition" for residents, because to me, a fee is a fee is a fee.
